Tyson Poultry Worker Demands more from Wal-Mart

I think it was important to let the people know about the
high rate of injury that came from working on a deboning processing line. People need to know about how people get
injured inside of poultry processing plants. They don’t get the proper care from doctors on the company panel.

I enjoyed speaking to the college students and letting them
know what carpel tunnel syndrome is. I
liked explaining to the students what a deboning line was and how people got
injured working in deboning.

I would like to thank the Georgia Poultry Justice Alliance
for selecting me to take part in this speaking tour. I would like to thank the International Labor
Rights Fund for letting me come on this tour and to experience the excitement
of speaking to college students and activists. I would like to also thank all of the nice people that let us sleep over
at their homes, people like Krysten (college student at Duke), the Spanglers,
and Jim (Army Veteran activist in Fayetteville).
