Consumers have a right to know the conditions in which products are made so they can make informed and ethical choices.

At no other time of the year could this be more important as Canadians flock by the millions to malls and stores for the holiday shopping season. Retailers and big brands put on their best shows, all vying for our attention with colourful displays full of products labelled as "fun", or "engaging". But good luck finding a label that lets you know where the product was manufactured....
